In November, the average concentration of PM2.5 in 339 prefectural-level and above cities nationwide was 32.4 micrograms per cubic meter, a year-on-year decrease of 2.4%; the average concentration of PM10 was 54 micrograms per cubic meter, a year-on-year decrease of 11.5%; the average concentration of O3 was 101 micrograms per cubic meter, a year-on-year increase of 3.1%; the average concentration of SO2 was 8 micrograms per cubic meter, a year-on-year decrease of 11.1%; NO2 average concentration was 25 micrograms per cubic meter, a year-on-year decrease of 10.7%; and the average concentration of CO was 0.9 milligrams per cubic meter, a year-on-year decrease of 10.0%.
In November, the average proportion of good air quality days in 339 prefectural-level and above cities nationwide was 93.8%, up 1.3 percentage points year-on-year; the average proportion of heavily polluted days and above was 0.3%, down 0.2 percentage points year-on-year; the average proportion of days exceeding the standard caused by sand and dust weather was 0.5%, and there were no days of heavy pollution and above.

List of Top 20 and Bottom 20 Cities in Air Quality Ranking of 168 Key Cities in November 2024
In November, among the 168 key cities, the top 20 cities with better air quality were, in order: Xiamen, Fuzhou, Zhoushan, Huangshan, Ya'an, Lhasa, Huizhou, Lishui, Kunming, Suining, Taizhou, Guiyang, Wenzhou, Neijiang, Guang'an, Mianyang, Nanchong, Dazhou, Zhaoqing, and Dongguan; and the bottom 20 cities with worse air quality were, in order: Harbin, Xianyang, Yinchuan, Linfen, Taiyuan, Xiangtan, Weinan The bottom 20 cities with worse air quality are: Harbin, Xianyang, Yinchuan, Linfen, Taiyuan, Xiangtan, Weinan, Changsha, Yangquan, Baoding, Lanzhou, Jinzhong, Yiyang, Heze, Shijiazhuang, Pingdingshan, Xuchang, Xinxiang, Zhuzhou and Xi'an.
In November, among the 168 key cities, the top 20 cities with lower PM2.5 concentrations were: Zhoushan, Fuzhou, Xiamen, Lhasa, Huangshan, Lishui, Wenzhou, Shenzhen, Ningbo, Huizhou, Taizhou, Kunming, Dongguan, Zhaoqing, Dazhou, Guangzhou, Suining, Dalian, Jiaxing and Foshan City in order; the bottom 20 cities with higher PM2.5 concentrations were, in order, Harbin, Yiyang, Xianyang, Xiangtan, Xuchang, Baoding, Shijiazhuang, Luozhuang, Xinxiang, Zhuzhou and Xi'an. The next 20 cities with higher PM2.5 concentrations are, in order: Harbin, Yiyang, Xianyang, Xiangtan, Xuchang, Baoding, Shijiazhuang, Luoyang, Changsha, Weinan, Anyang, Pingdingshan, Shangqiu, Luohe, Xinxiang, Zhuzhou, Linfen, Heze, Jiaozuo and Hebi.
